“We would go back often if we lived in USA”

Belmont Inn
We stayed one night in this immaculately maintained B&B situated in a beautiful garden with very fine old trees. Although our bedroom was tiny – the bed was excellent as was the en suite bathroom.
Anita is a very welcoming host who recommended us to a terrific seafood restaurant (with well considered suggestions as to what to order). For the next leg of our journey she directed us to a very fine art gallery in Rockport, together with other lovely places to visit on our way southward.
Breakfast was beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests. All in all a wonderful experience and we would go back often if we lived in the USA.

Located on a quiet street within a couple of blocks of great eating, shopping and harbor views. Attractive, comfortable surroundings for a satifying breakfast or glass of wine on the porch overlooking the beautiful garden. Personalized recommendations for sights, eats and shopping. Central location to explore the mid-coast-Arcadia region. Cannot fully appreciate with only one night stay.

My wife and I just stayed two very relaxing nights at The Belmont. Anita, the owner runs a first class inn by providing guests with large very clean surroundings, superb meals to start our day, and lots of personal touches that made us feel right at home. She is also a wealth of information and helped us make the most out of our time by pointing out places to visit, sites to see and best dining options based on what we prefered. The inn is located on a quiet street within easy walking distances to shops, galleries and places to eat. We highly recommend The Belmont!

My husband and I just spent a few days meandering up the central Maine coast and enjoyed a wonderful night's stay at The Belmont Inn. Over the years, we have stayed at dozens of B&B's and this ranks up at the top of the list. From the well maintained garden as you first enter the property to the beautifully appointed interior, Anita the gracioous owner, has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home. We would highly recommend this Inn to anyone traveling through Camden. Jane B.

We are not B&B people but this has been the most wonderful experience. The hotel with its lucsious garden is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The breakfasts are so good. I am still dreaming of the quiche with its buttery crust and the warm baked fruit with a touch of cream served by charming Anita (owner) who couldn't be accommodating. You can't find better!

This pretty, personally touched inn in the sleepy back streets of Camden was indeed an excellent choice.
Already received from a very colorful flowery nature outside the house, we were attuned to a relaxing stay.
Unlike most guests we stayed only one night which was far too short! The whole house was filled with a magical hand registered awareness, as we observed the same after Anita took us in reception.

In the room we knew ourselves surrounded by authentic materials, such as the fine old wooden floor or the antique flower stand in the bright bathroom. Anita had thought of everything and very close to the room held a small equipment for his own late-night snack or end of the day with wine.

Her restaurant recommendation turned out to be the hit.

We can highly recommend this inn!

Selected the Belmont Inn based on Trip Advisor reviews. Was given the top floor Hideaway Room which we found to be spacious and elegant in a simple way. For the price surprised that there was no TV.

The Innkeeper, Anita, goes out of her way to be a gracious hostess but seemed to go just a little too far, making my partner and I feel a little uneasy. She was effusive with local advice on shops and restaurants and willing to make calls regarding reservations.

Breakfast is a fixed menu served at 8.30am - a little too rigid for us when on holiday. Also felt a little uncomfortable with having to share a table. The food was excellent but the only choice is really whether you have coffee or tea.

The Inn is very conveniently located in relation to the main part of Camden - being a 10 minute walk down the road. Good to be close but not in the center of town.
