Description: Awarded Top 100 Restaurant In The USA, Natalie's offers a refined dining experience featuring Modern New England cuisine, influenced by international cuisines and inspired by the seasons. Executive Chefs Chris Long and Shelby Stevens create modern dishes with subtle and unexpected flavor combinations. Awarded best overall restaurant in New England, Natalie's uniquely blends a current sense of place and time with modern techniques and the bounty of Maine. The result is classic regional dishes reinterpreted and local sourced ingredients prepared with a worldly sophistication. Chris Long became 2013 Maine Lobster Chef Of The Year and Mixologist Seth Knowlton was awarded best bartender in Maine in 2013 by Eater. The restaurant received the AAA 4 Diamond Award in addition to a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and was awarded best restaurant in New England by Diner's Choice in 2013. The restaurant offers outside dining in season, with breathtaking views over the harbor and hills. Natalie's is fully air conditioned and has a full bar and lounge for cocktails and lighter fare. Natalie's offers a 3-course Prix Fixe, a 7-course tasting and a 4-course Grand Cru Lobster Menu.

This was a nice evening Prix Fixe dinner running $72/person for 3 selections. You can get more selections for $104/person, and of course wine pairings for an additional amount. This is a Relais & Chateaux, 4 Diamond Awardee AAA restaurant. Reservations are recommended. The wine list is quite good. Quantities of food (for us) are perfect and not overwhelming and you will not feel stuffed after dining here, but also not looking for another course either.

The ingredients are fresh, some even grown onsite. The panna cotta arugula was excellent and very different. The lobster course was nice. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Service was excellent! Personally, I doubt that we will return, just because it wasn't exceptional.

It is the second time we've been to Natalie's. The first time was about a year ago and it was magical. The first thing that hits you is the ambiance; beautiful location, elegant interior, and well lit (not too bright, think romantic). Next is the staff, everyone was knowledgeable, but also friendly and fun. The food is exquisite. It is thoughtfully prepared and it is an experience. Everything I had was something new, or a new spin on something old. The reason I will go back aside from my happy memories, is that every time will be a new experience. It is great to be able to go to a restaurant and know your favorites on the menu, but every now and then you need a surprise. Natalie's will always be new and exciting.

Black/white/red tres chic and tres ugly. That was our impression of Natalie's. Camden is a beautiful historic harbor town but the owners of Natalie's have turned their backs on that and are wannabe New York modern. Yuck. Camden isn't NYC (thank god) and the New Yorkers who flock there to visit are escaping the city. Hoity toity menu. Hoity toity prices. Not impressed.

A perfect night on the porch overlooking Penobscot Bay at sunset; a impeccably trained though very young staff and imaginative and expertly prepared food makes for an unforgettable experience. The choices were all prix fix, a 3 course, 7 course tasting menu or a lobster tasting menu which seemed like a lot of food. If you did not want this a bar menu was available. My sister-in -law, a small eater, ordered from the bar menu and was pleased with the sautéed crispy Halibut. The rest of us opted for the 3 course menu but it turned out to be 7 courses in all because we were served 4 additional tastings, compliments of the chef. The portions were small but added up so we were quite full when we left. The wine offering while not extensive was a good list of mid to high priced wines. The white plates were of varying sizes and designs for a unique presentation. All the food was very fresh and appealing. The dessert selection was a bit thin -everything was moussey no pies or cakes or cookies or anything crispy which is what I prefer. All in all a surpisingly good experience and one I will recommend to all my foodie friends.
