We had dinner here on the recommendation of friends. We all enjoyed a cocktail and traditional Maine cuisine. The chowder was good as were the lobster cakes and the clam linguine. The crab cakes tasted good but did not have lump crab--rather what seemed to be ground crab. I'd improve on that.

Wonderful view in the Camden harbor and nice ambiance. Very good service.

An institution in Camden, and now even better as they relocated closer to the water and right on the pier. Good food, good service.

Returned last Thursday evening with out-of-town guests from Boston, who generally dines in the better restaurants in and around the city (he's something of a celebrity there). We all had the Salmon Piccata, except my wife, who had the Filet. Everything was cooked to perfection and served quickly. Service was outstanding, as always. Dessert, which I'll normally pass up, was excellent. Don't miss this jewel if you're in the Camden area.

We had dinner, early evening on May 29. The server was brand new and had no experience. Chowder was cold, the bread was late, and the entrees were terrible. I has haddock with lobster. Cold fish with gooey cold sauce and rubbery lobster. My MIL's was no better. The vegetable was hot but MIL's potato was barely cooked. It wasn't like one thing was bad, everything was disappointing. For that reason complaint seemed futile. We paid and left.
