We had wonderful service and really good food! The atmosphere is just what you'd want to see for a chowder house. Amazing Blueberry pie!

This was a good choice for lunch. The staff was really friendly and the food was good. Hot cider in the Fall - yes! Our waitress, Josia, was great. A social place too.
We had chowder (good) and split the chicken sandwich (spicy). Didn't care for the thicker potato chips. Would just order something else next time. The only reason for the 3 stars for the "families with children" is that it's really small. Not much room for highchairs. They do have crayons out on the tables though. 1-2 kids in regular chairs would be fine.

We stopped here to have lunch and shop for awhile coming down from the Point in Northport.

Cappy's was perfect for us. It is a friendly, local restaurant reminding you of a lil
British Pub with cute nooks and crannies throughout.

My wife had their chowder which they are know for and was superb. I had a chicken caesar salad which was about as good as it can get.

Tray Cappy's while visiting Camden and it will "cap" off your day too!

Cappy's is a bustling and comfortable place. We sat at the bar and enjoyed beers and lunch. The chowder is the traditional style, not the creamy style. The lobster club sandwich and the burger were good.

Cappys is a small place but its big on character. Despite what some of the other reviews have said the food, prices, portion sizes, and service were great. I read some negative reviews and feel like the people that left them were extremely snooty and just not in tune with what this place is meant to be. This is a family friendly restaurant with authentic Maine cuisine and a hometown atmosphere NOT a fancy place where you should expect a five star experience. The lobster roll and fish and chips were excellent and the staff was friendly and very inviting. If you're in town and want to see where the locals hang out this is the spot. We will definitely be back
