We spent four nights at this location just north of downtown Camden. It's called a lodge, but really is a series of duplex buildings which look like old fashioned camp cottages on the outside, including stacks of firewood on the front porch and peeling paint. Inside, however is a modern, clean suite that includes a refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove, flat screen TV and an incredibly comfortable queen-size bed. Set on a hillside across from Rt. 1, our front porch provided a beautiful view of the ocean. The location was quiet and private, yet close enough to all attractions, including Mt. Battie State Park practically next door, and downtown Camden only a few minutes away. A nice change from the fancy and more formal Inns in the area
