After reading so many great reviews of Long Grain, our expectations were high. We weren't disappointed. It's hard to pull off a sense of warmth while using lot's of wood and glass yet they've nailed it here. The small dining room is attractive enough to be a draw in itself. Add in well-prepared food and efficient service and you have a winning combination. Our meal of shared appetizer dumplings, an order of pad thai and another of pad ke mao plus an iced tea totaled $57 including tip. A splurge for lunch but, if we lived nearby, one that we'd happily repeat often!

We dropped in on a Friday and the place was packed, a good sign. Then discovered if you don't have reservations, forget it. SO in the end we ordered to-go and took it back to our inn. The food was amazing and worth the wait. Dumplings have a deep full flavvor and the the spicy Thai basil with the fried egg was flavorful but not overpowering. We'll go back for sure!

We had a great lunch but the service was really lacking. The hostess sat a party without a reservation at the only available table while making us wait with a reservation. The waitress seemed rushed and had no intrest in making any suggestions. That's a shame as we weren't familiar with Thai food and would definitely been open to ordering more. We had barely finished when our plates were cleared and the bill set down. Again no acknowledgement, thank you , come again. Just a sence that she needed our table flipped fast. Iv been in the restaurant business and I know some of the ins and outs. It takes more then just good food to make it a truly enjoyable meal.

Went there for lunch while in Camden and had some of the best food of our entire trip to Maine. Very small place so make reservations if possible. A local favorite with inventive cuisine. Nice little Asian market attached.

Make a reservation. It is worth it and the cooking is local, varied and authentic. This place has a strong local following
