We had heard great things about this restaurant and tried it for lunch. The menu was a bit limited, even for lunch. The food was good and attractively presented but nothing extraordinary. The service was rather slow. The wine and beer selection was good for a Thai restaurant.

This is a wonderfully done Thai restaurant. We tried the dumplings which were fresh and delicious, the rice cakes which were delicious and different from any other we had ever eaten, and the Thai basil stir fry with wide noodles. The noodles were clearly made at the restaurant and were excellent. If you are in Camden, and feel like Asian, make a reservation and go!

We recently paid a second visit to this incredibly good little Thai restaurant. We made our reservation for dinner a little late considering it was during the height of the summer season. As a result we had to choose a different day and earlier hour than originally planned. Our flexibility, however, was well worth it. Since the restaurant is very small with not a lot of tables, it is best to book well ahead and even go on the early side. We were a party of six and ate at 5:30pm. Our server was the same young woman we had last summer and once again she was extremely gracious and efficient. Alcoholic beverages were a little pricey but the selection very good. What my husband and I particularly appreciated was these were not pressed upon us as tends to happen in many other restaurants. In addition the food came quickly so that we did not consume more than we wished. The appetizers that were the biggest hits in our group were the pan fried garlic rice cakes and the coconut soup. As others have said, the Pad Kee Mao was to die for. I've had it once with pork and this time with tofu. Both were wonderful. My husband ordered the Panang curry with beef which had a delicious spicy sauce and large pieces of extremely tender meat. Because we were sharing, I added some of his sauce to my Pad Kee Mao to hot it up a little.Yum! The restaurant will also provide a homemade hot sauce on the side ("magic sauce") if you want it. Others in our party raved about the Pad Thai and the Maine crab fried rice (without the egg). Extra crab was even offered. The portions were sufficiently generous that we ended up taking food home, an added bonus the next day. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. Since we live in the area, we intend to visit again soon and try some of the other delicious choices.

Great, creative food. Very tiny, always busy, and you need reservations or you can only get it to go. Very nice staff. Thankfully many tourists looking for Maine seafood overlook Long Grain so the locals in the know get first dibs. Really, really good. Plus the best part is the price for the value. Cannot be beat.

I was shocked to find this gem in the small town of Camden Maine. I suggest reservations, whether for lunch or dinner. We were very fortunate to be seated, arriving about 1130. Most of the tables were reserved and we watched other unfortunately diners being turned away. Really very delicious....take the server's suggestions on what to order. You won't be disappointed.
