“One night stay...wishing it had been a week!”

My husband and I had been in Boston and had a horrific experience with our lodging...so we left early and headed up into Maine. We stopped in Camden and found this wonderful B&B off Route One. The couple whom own and run it are from Italy and it was taking us a tad back in time to our delightful trips to Italy with our children. The Maine Stay B and B was the cleanest, well appointed B&B B we have ever stayed in and the bed was to die for. We actually wanted to take the bed home to CA with us:)
The breakfast was delicious and healthy and the B & B was very quiet for a great night's sleep. No complaints at all. Claudio and Roberta helped us find a scenic bike route through Camden and Rockport and we explored the top of Mt. Battie with it's picturesque views...again, to die for!
Thank you Roberta and Claudio.

My husband and I enjoyed several days at the Maine Stay Inn in August while visiting friends nearby.t What a delightful place, and Claudio and Roberta are amazing hosts! They are extremely friendly and hospitable and really want their guests to enjoy their time at the inn and in Camden. We had some delightful conversations with Claudio as we have a passion for his native Italy, and we can truly see how he has transported his Italian cordiality to his welcoming of guests into his home in Maine. The breakfasts are delicious, as are the cookies in the late afternoon. We highly recommend the Maine Stay Inn and the beautiful coastal area of Camden.

We stayed at the Maine Stay Inn at the end of our two week trip around Maine and after using impersonal hotels for the rest of our stay this was such a breath of fresh air. Roberta and Claudio were so welcoming and knowledgeable, their Inn is gorgeous and beautifully furnished, our room - The Dogwood was so pretty with the most comfortable bed and finally the breakfasts - what can we say! Delicious home cooked and again the best we had during our two week trip. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Maine Stay or Maine itself to anyone. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely stay here again.

This B&B is one of the best places to stay in the country. Period beautiful rooms over the top service and breakfasts and gorgeous Adjoining gardens to sit and relax with a cup,of coffee in the morning

Room Tip: They are all good!!!

First time B&B for my wife and me. If all are like this, we'll never stay at a hotel again. The rooms were beautifully decorated and our hosts very gracious and helpful.

Breakfasts consisted of such things as fresh berries, pineapple, eggs Florentine, blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, French toast with a peach sauce and sorbet with berries and granola. All were delicious.

We spent three nights at the Main Stay Inn which was an easy five minute walk from downtown Camden. Roberta and Claudio suggested several restaurants for dining and all that we tried were top notch. They also mapped out a nice hour and a half walk for us that took us into Rockport, passing by the harbor and back to our parking area.

My wife and I have been regular guests at this Inn going back over a decade and through three serts of innkeepers. Each time our experience gets better and better. The Inn exudes casual elegance; the Innkeeperers an expert knowledge of the area and surrounding environs with recommendations on what to do, what to see and where to dine; and a demonstrated desire to make your stay truly memorable. And oh breakfasts are to die for.

Room Tip: At one time or another we've stayed in most of the rooms here. Our favorites are the Common Grou...

Roberta and Claudio were nonplussed by our early arrival before noon, but graciously invited us to our twin room, which was guest ready and gave us thorough but quick suggestions on making the most of nearby sites and restaurants for an overnight stay. The inn, which dates from 1802 has an interesting history well documented in the informative binder of information in the rooms.
The interior of this inn is as beautiful and tasteful as any B & B where I have stayed. I especially applaud the owners for providing such a spacious, lovely room with twin beds for single friends. Very few B & Bs do this. The bath was also spacious and elegant in its decor. The gardens surrounding the house are beautiful also with paths and trails through a perennial garden and quiet spots to retreat outside. An excellent choice for exploring Camden.
Signed,
PTJ from Winchester, VA
