We were visiting family in Brunswick while significant renovations were taking place at their house, so we booked in to the Travelers Inn. We hadn't been to Brunswick in years, but knew the basic layout, and the Travelers Inn was in a generally convenient location. We stayed for six nights. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a fridge, which was very handy. A couple of mornings, we were awakened early (0730) by cleaning staff moving their equipment around the parking lot.

We didn't take advantage of the breakfast on offer in the main office, but it looked decent. We did use the free wireless a few times, and that was a nice perk.

Basically, we wanted something simple and conveniently located while we visited family, and the Travelers Inn fit the bill. The price was very good, the bed comfortable, and the location great.

As one of the other reviewers said, it can be a little fiddly turning out of the parking lot of the motel to get in to Brunswick (ie., turning left!) We experienced that as well, but there are short-cuts you can follow by turning right, too.

Enjoyed our stay here. Nice breakfast, very clean area. Our room had a refrig., which was nice...looked brand new. We could park right in front of our unit.

Office clerk very friendly. We definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, clean motel, convenient to town at a very reasonable price.

Family owned. Free computer/internet in lobby. Perfect little continental breakfast (including real butter - not margerine!!!).

Very clean, good parking. Great location. Better value than any of the national chains along same strip. No surprises, and everything was exactly as advertised. Family took care of any issues that came up immediately.

Couldn't recommend it any higher for the price. You will not find better value in Brunswick/Bath.

Decided to stay here after the Holiday Inn Express in Freeport quoted us $249 to stay another night (used Priority Points for 1st night) and received a $99 AAA rate over the phone from Travelers Inn, which was nice since all other hotels in the Freeport/Brunswick/Bath area were quoting a minimum of $150-$200 per night. Note: Hotel Rates in Maine soar during the Maine Lobster Festival.

Don't expect much more than an older property that is maintained fairly well. The bed was slightly soft (cheap pillows) but the new bathroom was nice. Wireless internet was extremely slow but free. Several casual restaurants are within walking distance.

Again, if you're simply staying a night and driving on the next day, stay here and use the $$$ you save to treat yourself to shopping at L.L. Bean or a lobster dinner or two.
