The Inn at Brunswick Station looks new and clean. It has a nice, open (not cluttered) feel and is comfortable (not a big, bustling hotel). The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The tavern feels like a tavern, and trivia night on Tuesday is fun! The location is perfect, an easy walk to the Bowdoin campus which is across the street and the stores and restaurants of downtown Brunswick. Parking is free and on site.

Room Tip: Third floor is the top floor and quiet.

Stayed 2 nights at the Inn as part of a travelzoo promotion. The property is very nice, well kept and the staff very good and personable. The decor in the rooms is quite modern, but still has a personality. Meals at the Pub were also very good.

After a wonderful trip on the Amtrak Downeaster, we spent the last night of winter in a roaring snowstorm at this beautiful inn. Friendly, helpful staff, SUCH a comfortable room with lush bedding...the snow stopped in time to welcome the first day of spring in Brunswick. Since our homebound train didn't leave till 6 PM, a late check-out was a great help. Definitely willl go back....

Having spent two nights at a hotel that cost twice as much, my expectations were not set high as we checked into the Inn. However, that quickly changed. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious topped off by a fresh design with all the amenities such as in-room coffee machine, a cloth especially provided for make-up removal and THE most comfortable beds I have experienced in a hotel. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful; in addition they were kind enough to offer us a special college rate since we were in town to visit Bowdoin College. I would highly recommend this hotel to any discerning traveller.

A co-worker suggested this as a good place to stay in Brunswick. The hotel has been remodeled recently and it looks great inside, rustic cozy. My room was a great size and right on the corner in front with windows so I could watch the snow fall. I ended up stranded in Brunswick for 3 extra days and the hotel automatically extended my stay when I learned my flight was canceled. The *only* complaint I have is that the room had no fridge or microwave, but I was allowed to use both appliances in the employee lounge on the ground floor. It wasn't convenient but they were nice about it. I always asked Joy (at the front desk) for suggestions on where to eat (I'm a bit of a foodie) and she was most friendly and helpful. Doesn't cost to park and the internet access was free too. Excellent location, walking distance to downtown restaurants, Would def returned to this place!

My husband and I spent the night in Brunswick while house hunting. We chose this place primarily because they welcome pets. The front desk staff were all very friendly, and were happy to answer questions about the area.

They have designated pet-friendly rooms. The one we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable and in a quiet corner of the inn.

We ate at the inn's restaurant. My husband had the short ribs and I had the scallops. Both were cooked just right. They have a diverse menu with options for lighter fare, as well as a range of creative cocktails.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.

Okay, so when we pulled up, it looks a little small from the outside, so we didn't get our hopes up. It was walking distance to Bowdoin College, the reason we'd come, so who cares about anything else, right? Then we breezed through check-in and got to our room. I mean suite. No really! To say the suite was spacious would be ridiculous - it was HUGE! Not in wasted-space way, but in a spread out and be comfortable way. Everything was perfectly functional, spotlessly clean, and pleasingly decorated. The appointments and amenities exceeded any expectation on every level.... Then we went to dinner.
The Tavern is the perfect New England hotel restaurant. It has all the classic local type fare, expertly prepared, and served with genuine friendliness. ****
