Last minute decision but a great lunch choice. The salsa was delicious and the burritos were excellent. I would recommend the “fajitas burrito.”

This seems like a place locals eat; we first went to a local tourist brew pub, but there was a long line there. Here we got right in. Service was great, food was very good, prices very reasonable. I would go back here frequently if we lived in the area.

We read good reviews, and decided to try it again for a Saturday lunch (last time we went there was a few years ago, and it was nothing special). Sadly, the place had an off smell, the server was more interested in keeping up with her texting with her back to us than in providing good service, and the food was lousy. We won't be back.

Want some good mexican, try this place. All the dishes are good, and try some flan for desert.

Been coming here for years, even when they were up the street where Lion's Pride is now. The key here is that whoever is the chef is clearly the real thing... the food is good by SW standards. Just plain authentic stuff.... no fancy specials or other tricks. The ambiance and location are pretty ho-hum... but that's part of the charm. I love El Camino too (the other good mexican place in town), but this place is the best for basic great Mexican food!
