If I could give this inn more than 5 stars, I would! There is simply nothing lacking here. The owner, Phyllis, magically manages this giant house and cottage building as though she were 10 people! The gorgeous main house has 4 posh bedrooms but the ace in the hole is two adjoining cottages, which can be booked together or separately. For families this is ideal.
We were in town twice while one of our sons attended the BIMF. The first time, we rented one of the cottages for around the same price as a room in the house. The cottage comes with a full kitchen and large bathroom and two bedrooms so we were able to make our own lunches. The second time my older son and I had a large room in the main house.
The breakfasts? Amazing! Delicious, diverse, and plentiful with the option of dining on the glorious patio overlooking the water. Wonderful coffee, too.
Phyllis is a wonderful host and she shares the fascinating history of the home and waterfront property.
