Needing a place to stay for the night, we made reservations while on the road using the mobile TripAdvisor app. My wife (the passenger) just ended up calling and making reservations instead of trying to make online reservations; the varying connections on the road make this frustrating.
The facility appears new. It is very spacious. Our room contained the best best of our week-long stay: not too soft, not too hard, but just right. The room also had Keurig brewing which was a nice touch.
One thing that struck me was the large closet. I dont recall a BW with such a large closet. The bathroom too was very large. Although the bathroom was large, perhaps 12x8, the shower was a small 3x3 and didnt have any place to put the toiletries. I thought that odd. The ironing board was on the wall in the bathroom but there didnt appear to be an outlet to use it in there without getting in the way of the door. I would put it in the closet. These are really just oddities and not serious conditions.
The TV setup is confusing which is noteworthy. We didnt find out until we left that next morning as the front desk that there were supposed to be two remotes in the room; one handled the HD channels and the other handled the generic stations. The instructions provided do not show what the remote to use is supposed to look like and since we didnt know there was a second remote we went to be confused <grin>. Aside from that, this is a very nice facility.
The breakfast was continental-plus variety. It contained eggs, or at least an empty pan with egg remains and some sausages. There were only a handful of people in the very nice serving area so we figured since it was 10/15, the end of the season, that there were not enough guests to make more food up.
The front desk was quite helpful in answering our questions and directing us to eating places for supper the night before.
