“I love this beach!”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

I love bringing the dog and walking the beach whenever possible! It is free and still not overcrowded!

“It's clean, but expensive and tidal”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Went here lots as a kid. it is a great picnic place and they keep it well, but the price goes up and up. When the tide is out, there is not enough water for swimming so you have a lot of sand...but kids can look for jellyfish and horse shoe crabs etc in season. There is a game room and they sell some snacks. It just doesn't compare to some of the other nearby beaches.

“Okay”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

When the tide is high it's nice. However there are tons of little shells in the muddy sand that will cut your feet. When the tide is out there is no chance at getting at water. But if you go during high tide, and bring water shoes you will have a great time and you might even see a horseshoe crab.

“Worth the trip from anywhere!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Thomas Point Beach is a beautiful spot along the coast of Maine! It's a campground, a place to enjoy a picnic and swim, and a great spot for a family reunion or company picnic. The grounds are very well kept and the staff is like family. At high tide, you can kayak from the beach and see opsrey and herons. A great place for all ages!

“I loved the Maine Highland Games at Thomas Point Beach”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

This was the perfect setting for the Maine Highland Games. A light salty breeze in off the water on hot days. Trees offered a sheltered area for camping, open fields for a parking lot. A large parade ground for the Massed Pipe Bands. I haven't been back to TPB or the Highland Games since they moved.
