We stayed in Sealoard at 4th May. Hotel is located in main city area opposite sea back (not sea view).

Hotel seems recently renovated. Furniture and decorations are OK. But rooms were clean and spacious. Room service was also good. Central A.C. were working properly. Breakfast was superb, fresh, and tasty with lots of Variety. Check-in Check-out process was fast. Our overall experience is good, I can suggest this hotel.

I stayed hear for my Honeymoon trip to Kerla, this is our first stay in this hotel and the experience was very bad, our room AC was very noise after complaining 3-4 times than hotel staff shifted us to another room at 11:00 PM. That was 31st Dec 2012 night, compulsory Gala dinner was there the food is OK as the Punjab or north Indian food preparation is very different at Kerla. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

the hotel itself is an imposing structure and leaves u with an immediate sense of royalty.
hence the cost is reasonable.

pros:
1. located in the heart of the city. marine drive is hardly a km away!!
2. the restaurants serve really good food and has a pleasing ambience.
3. room service availed of was commendable.

cons:
1. not much honestly.

in short, it was worth every penny. cochin is a great place to visit and sealord hotel makes sure that ur stay in cochin is beautifully taken care of :)

This is right in the heart of the city and when you step out of the hotel, you will find vendors as well. Amazing and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and tidy. Do not miss the breakfast. they are the best in this class. You can book ferry through this hotel. Parking could be a concern if you are travelling in your own vehicle.

Room Tip: Do the shopping outside Have the food at the hotel. Outstanding breakfast - don't miss

This hotel was apparently the place to be seen ....in the 60s. Now it feels something out of communist utopia- so do the rooms. I was surprised that they had a renovation done - yet the rooms look dated. Don't expect to find parking for your vehicle if you have your own. The bar on the ground floor stinks and is definitely not a place for a lady. The staff are very unpredictable-sometimes very friendly and at time very aloof. Stay here only if you have to do something at Broadway. Otherwise- pay a couple of rupees more and go to the hotels across the lagoon in FortKochi.

Room Tip: Not unless your business is on Broadway

The hotel was good, the staff was very courteous, even the management was very helpful. had opted for MAP plan and was fully satisfied with the food which they provided. even the roooms were very clean and spacious.A Gr8 choice in breakfast and dinner with Veg and Non-Veg food dishes. its located centrally so u can access easily. Opposite to the Hotel is the sea face where u can go for a short walk and enjoy the surroundings and exp with sea and the city.. they even provided me medicines in case of emergency. A worth staying place if you r staying in Kochi... Recommended this hotel to many of my friends and even they were fully satisfied with the services. The best part of the room service was that one of my friend was checking out of the hotel @ morning 5:30 AM, still the room service managed to pack their breakfast so that they can have it on their way afterwards. amazing service....

Room Tip: All rooms are good and spacioius..

For the price, this hotel is above average for an Indian hotel in the area. If you're travelling, you should know that this hotel is in the centre of the wholesale market area however you'll need to take the public ferry (jetty) to get to Fort Kochi, which is only 2.5RS pp. As for the hotel, the room was clean, the staff very friendly and the food was very good. I've rated the experience as Average because the hotel didnt have internet or English TV channels and the rooftop was still under construction.

Room Tip: Get a room that is facing the back. The view isnt great but you wont hear the traffic from the main...
