“pretty good food but watch out for the seagulls”
Reviewed September 5, 2011

I had a lobster roll that was packed with lobstermeat. I had to tell them no mayonnaise. Beers were cheap and we sat outside. Before I could even have a bite a seagull swooped down and overturned my sandwich and got a piece of lobster. A employee there told us to watch out for this bird. I replied too late. Well they were great about it and heaped on more lobster meat. Im attaching a picture of the offending seagull for the readers refrence.

“Rude service and ok food”
Reviewed August 31, 2011

The employees we encountered on this trip convinced us not to return and spoiled our dining experience. They were un-helpful, short, and un-caring about our concerns or questions. When asked if a certain advertised beer was available we were snapped at, and the woman calling the order ready could have tried a little harder to appear to want to be there. In short, ok food, but not worth the hassle.

“Excellent seafood market too”
Reviewed August 24, 2011

I didn't eat at the restaurant but bought picked crab and lobster meat that was a fair price here (cheaper than Robinson's) and absolutely delicious. Someone in Waldoboro, apparently, picks the stuff. Not sure it was cooked in seawater, as is Robinson's - that may or may not be a good thing. But they also sell Mill Cove's fish, which is great to know. It's hard to find fresh fish even though it's being brought in all the time. Most won't sell it to you, only wholesale. But this is one place Mill Cove is selling too. Cheap, beautiful-looking. I would come back here. Hope they're selling next year!

“This is the place to go for an authentic lobster shack”
Reviewed August 22, 2011

We loved the Boothbay Lobster Wharf. It's relatively inexpensive, rustic, and fun. You place your order at a stand, they take the lobster and corn and put it in a bag and boil it in a big outdoor drum, and then you can either eat there on outdoor picnic tables or take it home with you. Nice view of Boothbay Harbor.

We loved it!

“Very Tasty, No Crowds”
Reviewed August 15, 2011

We walked another quarter mile past the long waiting line at the Lobster Dock, which may well be delicious. But for a touch more effort, we were rewarded with big fresh lobster rolls, sweet plentiful steamers, and cold draft beer at the Boothbay Lobster Wharf. Lunch could not have been more pleasant or delicious.
