a beautiful place overlooking a quaint little harbor town. It's close to all the action. the inside is clean and well decorated. The outside is a great display of an Victorian manor, the place was built in 1877 The rooms are very nice and up to date. The breakfast is great. a grab an extra muffin if you can.

Room Tip: rooms over looking the front deck, might possibility of another guest enjoying a coffee or drink just outside your window

What a gorgeous place!!! Boothbay Harbor and Captain Sawyer's B&B was the perfect place for us to enjoy some special time with family...The room was perfect with an amazing view, breakfast was delicious and the town was charming. You can walk to so many different shopping and restaurant experiences and so many beautiful places to see within a short drive. We took a boat trip to see lighthouses, saw seals swimming and playing on the rocks, and watched a demonstration on how little lobster traps work..This was our first visit to the area and we will definitely be going back..can't wait!!!

The location is a half block from all the action--boat tours, restaurants, and shops. You can see the "crowds" down the street but there is no one around the inn. Most people park and walk so there's no car traffic, just a few people walking by.
The inn is an old sea captain's home and it has been extensively renovated this year. Rooms are quiet and comfortable (we had 2 rooms for 2 days). There is off the street parking.
Breakfasts are delicious and healthy. Jo the owner is an excellent cook and a sweet person.

Room Tip: The room "Novelty" is at the front and has a nice view.

Jo and Sarah were the most amazing hosts for a group of friends that were staying in town for an event. The rooms were all very tastefully decorated and spotless. Jo prepared a different breakfast each morning for all of the guests each morning where we ate in the country kitchen. We stayed in the Stephen Tabor which was quite romantic and had it's own private entrance. Thank you for helping to make our stay in Booth Bay such a wonderful experience!!
