“Don't Go There!!!!”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

Total disappointment. It was the most expensive meal we had in Boothbay and it was crap!
My friend ordered the Shrimp Scampi pasta. It was a bowl of greasy oil in the bottom. You would not want to have your cholestrol checked after eating this. The 1.1/4 lb of steamed lobster meal that cost $24.00 looked like the lobster was suffering from anexoria. All shell and no meat. After complaining to the waitress she recluntantly replaced it with another lobster. It came with 2 small boiled red potatoes and a cob of corn. The waitress brought bread that seemed average, but after asking for more bread the second batch looked wrinkled and was stale. The service and and the food were not good. I recommend to go somewhere else. Lots of other places to eat in town.

“Restaurant at The Fisherman's Wharf Inn”

Good food, good prices, nice staff. Where else could you get 3 lobsters for $20.00?
Excellent breakfast every morning. Could not have asked for any more selections. Great views of the harbor. My only complaint is that the floor was sticky several times.

“Lobster dinner with a view”

Great view. Great service. Great lobster. Unbelievable price! Lobster prices = single $10, twin $15, triple $20. We ate here twice. You will not be disappointed.

“very disappointed”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We dined here on our last night of a 3 day stay in Boothbay Harbor. We were very disappointed in the service for a restaurant that was at about one fourth capacity. We ordered two rounds of drinks that took at least 15 or 20 minutes to arrive each time. When I mentioned it to our server she stated that she " is not the bartender's priority". As I walked through the bar area, which was almost empty, on the way to the restroom I heard the bartender barking at a customer that " it will be a while, I'm busy". Our server was noticeably absent throughout our 2 hour experience. We waited far too long for everything. Very frustrating! Our dinner was average, but when you are irritated from the service, everything goes downhill. Overall, for our most expensive meal ($82.00 plus gratuity) it was our least favorite in Boothbay
