We sat at one of the two or three tables out front and talked to some great locals. The food and coffee were great.

Red Cup Coffee is the local interpretation of a Starbuck's or a Peet's. Mocha Latte or Expresso, freshly pressed and made, with even the "regular" coffee flavorful and aeromatic and served hot enough to ward off the morning harbor chill.

But the piece de resistance was the blueberry pie. I know, sounds strange to rave about pie from a coffee shop, but it was some of the best blueberry pie I've ever had. Locally made, chock full of wild Maine blueberries and a notable absence of aspartame or other artificial sweetener, the full flavor of the blueberries sits front and center with every bite. A medium to light flaky crust dusted with brown sugar was complementary to the fruit and not overpowering.

A few sidewalk tables out front and several tables inside complete the experience. Several other flavors of breads, pies and coffees are available, but I just couldn't get past the blueberry!

Stopped here on a chilly afternoon for a pick me up. Was very disappointed to find Moose café already closed for the season! Had the best decaf ever there(see in previous reviews) so was glad to find another coffee house to try out. Customers seemed a bit snobby ( I guess bikers don't fit in with their intellectual coffee sipping crowd) but the guys behind the counter were very nice. We ordered 2 salted carmelitas, one regular for the old man & my decaf. It was a little slow getting them but it seemed the guy making them may have been new & in training. no biggie though, we're on vacation & everybody has to learn sometimes! The coffees were very good & we also got a blueberry almond bar that was homemade & also very tasty! I brought some decaf back to the cabin which they obligingly ground for me right away. Sadly not as good as moose café but more than acceptable nonetheless. Overall very good & would definitely return!

Yummy tomato and mozzarella sandwich! Friendly place to just hang out. The Barista was the real deal.
