“Recommended to us and we agree”

After eating a huge lunch at the Cabbage Island clambake we just wanted a little something for a late dinner. The tapas options were wonderful, and each one was quite large for tapas, more like appetizer portions. Do not miss the bread pudding trio for dessert!

“Great Place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2014

My boyfriend and I were in Boothbay Harbor for three nights and went here every night. Most place we went only had a couple of beers to choose from, but this one had a great selection! We had drinks and a couple of the tapas each night. Everything was delicious and all the food I saw pass us by looked delicious. I would definitely recommend the thai mussels and the pistachio crusted scallops. The thing that really kept us coming back was the third floor roof deck. Up there you get a great view of the harbor! Combine that with great food, great beer and friendly service, you have a real gem of a place!

“Better than the rest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014

We ate here several times during our week in BBH. It was nice to have more uspscale food in a casual atmosphere. The Glidden Point oysters are delicious, Caesar salad lightly dressed. One evening we sat on the second floor because the upper deck was full, luck for us because it started raining. The staff was very helpful moving everyone downstairs. Our waitress( can't remember her name- but she was from Russia and studying to be a neurosurgeon) was great. This place beats the others around- hands down.

“Three stories in the air and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 10, 2014

We ate on the very top deck with a fantastic view of the harbor. The menu has lots of unusual things to try. I had beats layered with a creamy cheese over a bed of field greens. Delicious! I also had the lobster bisque, but was disappointed. It was thin and tasteless--kind of like a milky broth with two tiny lobster claws dropped in. There definitely was no buttery, sherry flavor. My husband had a delicious burger, spicy waffle fries and seafood chowder that he really liked.

“Good food, below average service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I ate here recently. We sat on the upper deck which was definitely pleasant, nice views and it is open and spacious. The food was good but most things on the menu were very rich and often cream based, there were few healthy options. That said the salads were good and very fresh. Perhaps we just came on a busy night but the service was definitely below average. We had to ask repeatedly for a water refill, it was slow to order, our waitress forgot to bring our drink order until she was reminded and where other tables seemed to be offered bread we had to ask twice for her to bring bread to the table. She never once came back to see if we needed anything once the food was dropped off. So overall I'm not sure I would go back.
