“Loved it so much we went there three times!”
Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

We stumbled upon this quaint harbor side restaurant by the footbridge. It quickly became our #1 choice for casual dining in Boothbay Harbor. The wait staff couldn't have been nicer and more friendly. Additionally, the place was super clean too which is such a welcome bonus when traveling! To top it off, the food was excellent. We had the best lobster dinner during our two week stay in Maine, here. Not to mention the crazy price, $16.95, it was steamed to perfection! (amazing how other restaurants here had served tough chewy lobsters.....you would think they have the timing down being in the heart of lobster country!). Andrew's restored our faith in how to cook and serve lobster. Our other friends ordered the fired shrimp, light, not greasy, and absolutely delicious. My cousin had the haddock, broiled to perfection; another had the sea food chowder which she said was absolutely delicious. This was a wonderful dining experience, when you are looking for simple casual dining while in Boothbay Harbor. Can't wait for them to reopen in the spring.

“The best cinnamon rolls anywhere (except my kitchen)”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

The food was plentiful (too much really) and tasty. I will definitely return for more. The cinnamon rolls stayed fresh overnight so I could finish it in my room. They even sent extra butter and a plastic knife so I could spread the butter better.

“Was Hoping for Something Really Great”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

We ate here the second week in September for an early dinner. The menu which was included in a flyer that we received at our inn sounded great. So we ordered the chicken tenders as an appetizer. Very small portion (5 small pieces?) and little to no sauce on the tenders. Not great. Ordered the fried scallops and again small portion of 5 scallops for between $20-$25. They weren't very good either. They charge $2 if you are going to split the dinner. How could you split 5 scallops and almost non-existent fries? It seemed to be late in the season and maybe they were just using up what they had on hand? There were only a few tables with people there which says something. Service was okay. If I go back to Boothbay Harbor, I will not go back to this restaurant.

“Super Breakfast”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is a owner owned and run restaurant. The food is great, the servers know their jobs and are willing to wait on you! They have been properly taught. Try the homemade sticky bun with breakfast.
