I adore this place. Prices are reasonable, some of the best chowder around. Lobster roll had a bit too much mayo but that's personal preference. good food, a Maine experience.

Lobster rolls and hotdogs (get the footlong) were yummy. You'll sit at picnic tables and enjoy the varied seafood options, including fried fish, clams, and of course lobster rolls. Get your cold drinks from the nearby soda machines. Love this place!

I'm echoing an earlier Trip Advisor reviewer -- a roadside hot dog stand that's got a huge menu beyond hot dogs and fries, though earlier today I had their namesake. You can enjoy your food outside on picnic tables, which is what I did -- cool breeze, gorgeous blue sky, and a delicious hot dog and shoestring fries. What's not to like?

Walking up and seeing a 2 page menu made of 3/4" stick on letters lets you know the vastness of this little shacks output. Greeted by a stern look (speaking a thousand words in itself) lets you know this is business and you better be ready. A dog with cheese makes a cross out in the order book to a cheese-dog. I asked for a cheese burger and requested Swiss if possible. It felt seinfieldish when answered to by cheese burger as only one way. When i asked for a beer he looked liked I asked for green nectar from mars and promptly was told soda in machine to right!
The dog and burger were great, and is a relief from lobster, lobster, lobster...A fun place to dine and a real New England feel. A treat for everyone.

but the food is delicious! Dunton's operates from a trailer. There are picnic tables behind as well as short-term parking for those seeking take-out. Beverages are available from adjacent vending machines. Seafood rolls, burgers, chowders, kielbasi, fries, and onion rings are just a few of the reasonably priced offerings.
