We stayed for two nights in a double/queen room, which was clean, beds comfortable, and HVAC reliable. View from our room and patio was very good, but if we wanted second floor accommodations it would have been better. While walking around Commercial Street (hard on the legs--uneven surfaces and steep grades) we checked out the competition and confirmed we had picked the nicest. Located across the footbridge from Commercial St, it is quiet and unlike others, has well-maintained grass and nice landscaping. Speaking of maintenance, we did have a reason to request something fixed--it was done immediately. We met our housekeeper too, and she was pleasant and cheerfully accommodating of our request for an extra wastebasket. The restaurant has a great waterfront view and a patio with firepit. Food is excellent and elegantly served. The bar is pretty sparse in selection but has very comfortable padded stools and a $3 happy hour of house brands. Warning, though: after Labor Day they may close the restaurant and bar on Wednesday with little notice. No problem, though--we walked the short distance next door to the Rocktide and were happy there. If you want a nice, relaxing getaway, this is it.

Room Tip: For best room views, ask for the main building...second floor if your knees can handle it (no lift o...

So glad we had an extra day here. The dining room has great views across the harbour & lobsters to die for. Staff & service were great & our waitress Precious was so sweet & lovely to talk to. Very lovely walk across the bridge to the town & being the end of season lots f bargains.

Boothbay harbor Inn is very conveniently located to the downtown area as well as being in a great location right on the water. We arrived on Friday afternoon, parked our truck and did not use it again until we were leaving Sunday afternoon. They have chairs and picnic tables in the grassy area right on the water which was a great place to hang out. All we had to do was walk across the bridge and we were in town. We will definitely be back.

Boothbay Harbor is one the most charming and beautiful places I have visited. The Inn was right on the water within walking distance of many shops and restaurants and a scenic drive. The staff and service was absolutely wonderful.

First, I have to comment on the gentleman who made my reservation for me. I think his name was Jason (?). He was super friendly, very patient with the questions I had, and made recommendations for what would be the best value for the price. His helpfulness set a great image of the Inn, even before we got there. Our room was nice & clean, with all the things that would make a longer stay more pleasant (fridge, microwave, a well-working a/c ... etc.) The location is AMAZING. Steps from the footbridge which crosses you over into the downtown area; close to local supermarkets; 10 minutes or less to Robinson's Seafood (DO NOT MISS EATING THERE - It's to die for!) -- it was such a beautiful place to be, and a warm, friendly, welcoming hotel made it all that much better. Thank you!

Room Tip: If you're willing & able to spend a few extra dollars, definitely get a room with a view of...

By no means the fault of Boothbay Harbor Inn but the entire weekend was fogged in. The Inn was fine , we got there early about 11:am but the valet advised us since they had but a few quest the night before we may be able to check in. And they accommodated us and had our room right on the harbor. But as stated you could hardly see the water for the fog. All in all the Boothbay Harbor Inn was fine the accommodation included a $10. credit to full breakfast and the valet parking is so other than guest do not park in their lot and understood if you have ever been to Boothbay. Would recommend this location as there are many.

Room Tip: If you wish a harbor view you must request as not all are the same.
