My husband and I almost didn't stop (not much to look at) but glad we did. We had 3 lobsters for $19.95. They were soft shell (just moved up to the next size, so they weren't' weren't full) but very sweet and delicious! They were cooked just right not over cooked. Definitely a good place to visit.

It is hard to write a review when we don't even know where to start, because EVERYTHING is so wonderful here. We just came back from a 3 day stay at Cap'n Fish's (our very favorite place in Boothbay Harbor) and to make our stay even better is the Dockside Grill right on the premises. We used to always take a nice walk into town to eat at different restaurants, but once we ate at the Dockside Grill we didn't want to go anyplace else. First of all, we should say the owner and CHEF (not a cook, but a TRUE CHEF), Clint is the nicest, sweetest, hard-working man. He always greets with a smile and his menu is fabulous!! In our last 2 visits we have had steamed lobster dinners fresh from the water off the dock (it doesn't get any fresher than that!!!!) lobster mac & cheese (so much lobster!!!!), lobster grilled cheese (hard to imagine how good it is), lobster fritters, lobster rolls (hot or cold) and this weekend I tried the lobster benedict for breakfast !!! It was the most beautiful breakfast I have ever had (visually and tastewise), and the hollandaise sauce was to die for (beyond compare)!!!! Can you tell we like lobster!!!!!!!! We also had the most amazing grilled and blackened haddock sandwich (so big we shared it). My husband had ham with his breakfast and it is literally sliced fresh off of a huge, freshly baked ham that you see when you walk through the door. We don't even eat breakfast usually!! How could we resist? And the home fries are the BEST we've ever had and the talk of the town among the locals. Everyone we talk to says it the best place in town that the locals frequent....that says ALOT!!!!!!!! We can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!! The Dockside Grill will be one of the reasons we go back to Boothbay Harbor soon. (Wish it was in our town!!) HI to all the great wait staff there (everyone is so friendly and great at their job). We were really lucky this past weekend to meet Johanna, Dana and Alex. You all made our visit AWESOME !!!!!!!!! GREAT WORK, CLINT and THANK YOU for the best food ever!!!!!!!!!

We went here early on Saturday evening and we had the place to ourselves. We ordered the 3 lobsters and 3 sides for $30 - great value! The Caesar salad was great, and the lobsters were perfect. BYOB helped keep our bill low as well, which we appreciated. Very fast and friendly service too! Overall, a great spot with a great view of the harbor.

It's easy to miss, the sign only faces one direction. Worth the hunt (next to Cap'N Fish's). Very casual low key atmosphere. Really enjoyed the haddock. Best deal, 3 lobsters + 3 sides for $30. Friendly staff.

We've been there a few times and have never been disappointed. Their business hours are a little different than other eateries. They should post their business hours on the website so people don’t make the trip there to find out that they’re closed.
