Dockside Grill was a great find! It is located a short walk accross the footbridge from Boothbay Harbor. The restaurant is located right on the water with a small deck. Inside it is quaint but not fancy. Views are of the harbor and Boothbay.. Very down home with wood panneling and red and white checkered tablecloths (plastic).. Waiters are friendly and relaxed in attitude. But you want lobster. Well, we had 3 lobsters (about 1 and 1/4 lbs each) plus three side dishes for $25.00. It was excellent. The sides were all home made and all very good. One aside, they do not serve alcohol. I have eaten in various Boothbay eaterieis before and this was the best. If you want fancy go somewhere else. But if you want great seafood, good prices and homelike atmosphere, this is the place.

After overhearing a conversation amongst lobstermen, and reading an ad in the paper, my family decided to try this new place in town. We were looking for a good, simple lobster dinner, that wasn't overpriced, and with a view. We got exactly what we wanted and left happy and excited to come back. We ordered one pound of steamers, and two of the 3-for-25 deals. The lobsters were supposed to be 1 pound but felt bigger, and they were served piping hot and the meat was tender and sweet. As part of the deal, we also got a side of baked beans, cole slaw, corn, potato salad and french fries. We were happy with it all! I'm not sure what other people are talking about in their reviews, but we did receive lobster bibs, we loved that it was BYOB, and the service was perhaps the best part of the meal. Though young, the staff was incredibly polite and sincerely interested in our experience. I would have given 4 and a half stars but the only thing that perhaps might keep us away from time to time is the atmosphere. A beautiful view, but a small, quiet place. If you're looking for the place in town where you actually get what you pay for, this is it!

Food was always fresh and always good. Servers are young but very pleasant...we sometimes had to wait and usually they ran out of something on the menu. However we chalked that up to food is always fresh. The lobster deal is ridiculous and worth every penny. The lobster mac & cheese had a full tail and claws in it, also ridiculously good. Even the side salad full of blueberries and strawberries was so worth it! Great little local place.

Three lobsters for $25. They were small, and not as sweet as we had elsewhere on the trip. Asked for salad ahead but it all came out at once. Corn was tough, slaw pretty much tasteless. No beer or wine, bring your own, no lobster bibs so wear clothes you can stain with butter. Better yet, pay a little more and go down the street to the Wharf for lobster. This is Maine, lobsters are plentiful and relatively inexpensive, don't settle for this.

3 Lobsters and 3 sides for $25. Unbelievable deal. The lobsters were fresh and extremely delicious. Spent the same amount for a single lobster down the road at the Lobster Dock. Highly recommended.
