“A beautiful night ...”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

After lots of traveling and hiking, this was a very relaxing two hours. Our captain did not 'narrate' but answered a myriad of questions. We took advantage of the sunset sampler offered and it was excellent. That and our bottle of wine and a beautiful sunset made for a fantastic evening.

“Sailing on the Lazy Jack”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

This past Wednesday, we sailed aboard the Lazy Jack around Booth Bay Harbor and found it to be the highlight of our trip. The Captain was personable and engaging, and would recommend this trip for anyone who loves being on the open waters. A great way to spend 2 hours with a captain who really knows his craft and the art of sailing.

“The best way to enjoy the harbor.”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Sailing on the Lazy Jack is one of my favorite things to do in Boothbay Harbor. The size of the boat is ideal and Captain Joe's sailing skill and great personality always makes it a pleasure. Maybe you can get him to sing for you.

“Fun Times with Lazy Jack and Crew”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

My family and I were recently visiting the Boothbay Region when we came across the sailing schooner Lazy Jack. My family have always had a passion for old schooners. When we inquired at the booth but there trips and times, we were helped by a very pleasant woman. She introduced herself as Marcy. She took the time to explained the history of the boat and some history of the area that we would be seeing.
Once we were on board, the captain and his mate( which we found out was his son) was very informative and helpful. We had a beautiful sail. Sky's were blue with just enough wind to make it enjoyable, not including all the sea life we encountered. I would strongly suggest if you are in the Boothbay Region to look up the Schooner Lazy Jack. It is well worth the time.

“Relaxed sailing with great views”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Our group consisted of seasoned sailors and some very special "seniors" - it was a way for us all to sail together easily. Captain Joe and son Michael, first mate, provided the proper safety overview and a relaxed sailing experience. We liked it so much, we all sailed with him the next day! First trip we had great wind and made our way around Rams Island lighthouse..... Day 2, not enough wind, but Captain Joe motored to find some wind. Both days were enjoyable!!

Very much liked that the boat configuration and BYOB & food - we could bring what the group wanted..... Added bonus - comfortable seating and max of 14 passengers on the boat. We had plenty of room and did not feel crowded.....

A great way for us to spend 2 hours soaking up the wonderful Maine coastline!!!
