It was a beautiful day for our boat ride, and we saw a lot of scenic spots along the way. We were sitting in the back of the boat, which made it difficult to hear some of the history of Boothbay Harbor that was given on our way to Cabbage Island. When we got to the island, it was amazing to see how our lobsters were cooked and how fast and organized the service was. It also was nice to have a choice whether to eat outside or inside the hall. The clams and lobsters were cooked to perfection. I would suggest, however. that you eat these two items first so your butter doesn't solidify before you get through your meal. The blueberry cake that we had for dessert was a little dry, but it had a good flavor. After our meal, we had time to visit the little gift shop they have in the hall. All in all, it was a tasty and memorable trip. I would recommend it to any visitor to Maine.

We attended a wedding on Cabbage Island and had a wonderful time. It was a very foggy day, but that didn't diminish the experience. The Bennie Alice took us on an excursion around the harbor, so we could see the lighthouse in Southport before heading to the island. Once there, the ambiance was outstanding. Bathroom accommodations have been updated and were new, efficient, and very clean. All in all, a memorable visit!

The history of Booth Bay as told during the boat ride to Cabbage Island was very informative. The setting on the island is just what you would expect a lobster bake in Maine to be. We were a group of 18 and gathered at picnic tables in an area where the food was being steamed in seaweed overlooking the bay. A postcard setting for sure! The staff were great by being attentive and very personable. You can tell they love their job and the people they are serving.

Bring your appetite to experience all items they prepare for you. The blueberry cake at the end makes for a great finale. We will definitely make the trip again when family and friends come to visit.

The boat trip to the island was stunning. The islands and harbor were beautiful and the Captain of the boat was very informative. I enjoyed every moment. The food was way too much for one to eat but it was extremely good. 2 Lobsters that were cooked to perfection. And then a mile high blueberry cake. Cabbage island is very beautiful and the Host was very attentive to everyone. A Must if you are in Maine.

Love this place the lobster bake and blue berry cake are worth the price. The boat ride over is the best part. The family meets and greets every guest.

The food was outstanding and more than most could eat. We had a great waitress who kept our iced tea full while we enjoyed our seafood feast. The hospitality was wonderful and the owners were present and friendly. We enjoyed the boat ride and the narration from the captain. Tickets are hard to get and need to be booked ahead. I would definitely return.

I read many good reviews of this lobster/clambake and it did not disappoint. Awesome experience with delicious food. The Moore family takes time to talk with all the visitors. You can walk around and enjoy the island. The staff waits on you for drinks and are very friendly. Go meet Bennie Alice in the gift shop. She’s still kicking away at 93 years young! Such genuinely nice people. You will not leave hungry. And the narrative boat ride to the island was very enjoyable. Make reservations ahead of time since it sells out fast. This is a must do trip!!

I will start by saying the food was very good. I love lobster and this place gives you a good meal and great blueberry cake.

Waiting on the boat was irritating. All 160 something of us were waiting on the boat for 45 minutes before starting to move. Why not just board 15 minutes before? It was hot and many folks were starting to get seasick. After the long wait... we are finally on root. An hour long ride to the Island was tough after the wait.

Once there, we found a nice seat in the shade but wait... why am I getting bitten by flys? I was bit no less than 50 times. I had on bug spray but that didn't help!! Wear pants!

After you are done eating, there is nothing to do. Volleyball or walking around is offered but a game of trivia or bingo would be a fun way to end the day.

The boat ride home was much quicker thankfully. I think this experience could be easily improved.
