This botanical garden is small but very nice. If you have children, they will like Children's Garden. The waterfall in the Rhododendron Garden is beautiful.

So much to see and it doesn't matter what season you are there. The children's garden is filled with activities and fun things to see and do. If you are looking for a place to meditate there is a wonderful meditation garden. We walked around lazily just taking in the different species, color and texture...so relaxing.... Have a nice cafe lunch outdoors and peruse the gift shop as well.

I'm so glad we found the botanical gardens. Everything from the 5 senses gardens to the children's garden is well-planned, well-maintained and beautiful. The sculptures throughout the gardens fit in perfectly with the surroundings. If you enjoy seeing and smelling plants and flowers, this is a destination. I hope to come back again in other seasons to see the changes in the landscape.

I visited the botanical gardens with my young children (2 and 5) and they spent over 6 hours in the children's garden. The children's garden includes an array of wonderfully interactive exhibits for children that fold nicely into the natural landscape. From walking a natural maze to watering the plants from old-fashioned hand pumps, it is a day of fun. The children's garden also includes a reading "barn," tree house, bear cave, fairy house garden and much, much more. You will NOT be disappointed to visit this location as a family. It's good, wholesome fun in which the young people in your life will delight!
