If you are a gardener, then this is a must visit place. Even on a misty day, the themed gardens are impressive in their variety of plantings. There were plenty of ideas to take back home.

I never would have dreamed that such a beautiful place could be at the end of such a small narrow road in rural Maine! This is a relatively new botanical garden but the management has put together a beautiful display, in picturesque settings, mixed with handsome sculptures. Most species are clearly marked. There's even a garden for children. We've recently toured Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and other similar gardens and this was better! Worth the trip!

The flowers in the garden were so beautiful. What a pleasant day, just wondering through the different areas. There are about nine different areas to view. There are restrooms in the main building. We made it all the way down to meditation garden where there is a tram that can pick you up (At the pinecone sculpture) and take you back to the main building. There is a gift shop in the main building also. A must see if you are in Boothbay!

The grounds were beautiful, unfortunately a lot of the flowers were not flowering. The weather did not cooperate. Would love to go there again.

What a jewel! This is a wonderful place for the whole family. The Children's Garden is fun and educational. (Kids can "help" feed the chickens and plant veggies). If you enjoy gardening you'll find plants suited to your growing area and great ideas for making your own garden a show stopper! The Kitchen Garden Cafe has a nice variety of light fare, and uses produce from their own gardens. I hope to return in the Fall and see what spectacular treats are in store here.
