I admire the vision of the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. What a beautiful place! The grounds are covered with a vast variety of botanticals. There is a wonderful area for children to explore! An old fashioned water pump was a big hit with our granddaughter, she could fill the bucket and water some flowers. There was also an area where the children could see the transition of the to frog. Kids and water!!! There were mazes and play houses and nooks for seating all around the acreage. They also have a separate dog walking area. They offer guided tours and transportation around the property pheriphery if needed. What a perfect place to walk! I envy the locals that can frequent the park. There is a small fee, we had passes. Locals can purchase a membership.
