What a surprise! This enormous garden was divided into smaller areas- each one more beautiful than the next! The new children's garden was especially great- it is big and beautiful with many activities for children- a bear cave, an area to build their own fairy houses, a climbing tree house- and a wonderful child size 'village' with a school, a story house and crafts area- and many more- all beautifully designed and made.
Throughout the gardens, besides the wonderful flowers, there are magnificent sculptures and garden structures made by Maine artists.
There is a cafe in the welcome center, and a gift shop. All areas are accessible to people who use wheelchairs.
I highly recommend these gardens for families or lovers of all kinds!
