Being a lover of diners, I was excited to find out about "the oldest diner in Maine". Everything is made from scratch with an emphasis on local products. The portions are huge, and the coffee is delicious. Try the Irish Benedict or the Ragin' Cajun; the hollandaise sauce, though not quite authentic, is terrific. The Monte Cristo with real maple syrup is also really good. The service is super friendly and efficient. In the Spring, they will reintroduce lunch, and they have periodic Dinner Specials with limited seating (get on their email list).
