We recently stayed at the Bethel Hill Bed and Breakfast and it was very warm and wonderful stay. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which was very spacious and comfortable. The remodeled home is very beautiful but yet very cozy. Scott was a terrific host with lots of recommendations and cooks a yummy breakfast! The bed and breakfast is also within walking distance of restaurants. Definately would be back if we returned to Bethel, Maine.

Innkeepers Scott and Carol Gould have created a wonderful 3 guestroom B&B in the lovely western Maine town of Bethel near Sunday River Ski Resort. Their recently remodeled home has one guest room on the first floor with a separate entrance and two guestrooms on the second floor. Breakfast options are numerous and basically cooked to order. Scott and Carol are both very knowledgeable about the area and are members of the local Chamber of Commerce. Several outstanding restaurants are within walking distance.

I have stayed at many B&Bs and Carol and Scott have created an environment that is outstanding. As I said to them, you have found the perfect balance between being totally present for your guests and giving them space. For NTL participants - it is almost on campus, it is relaxing, quiet, the house and gardens are beautiful - I could not imagine anything more perfect. Breakfasts were exquisite and the special subtle touches in the room made me feel so special.

I would come back in a minute - I highly recommend it!!

We loved our stay at Bethel Hill B&B. Carol and Scott are excellent hosts and made our stay very welcoming and comfortable. The home is very nice and wonderfully decorated. Very comfortable and nice. The breakfasts were wonderful and the tete-a-tete with Carol every morning was especially wonderful for me. Personal touch to every thing makes this B&B an excellent choice for discerning travellers.

A great place to stay. First class all the way. Scott and Carol are wonderful, pleasant people who really are easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the area. They were very accommodating to my diet and great company. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was a great place to stay. It is just beyond the main streets of Bethel and is really convenient to two ski areas though we only skied at Sunday River (about 12 minutes away).
It was really nice to come home after our days on the slopes and relax here. Breakfast was just what we needed to get us going in the morning. Carol and Scott were both very helpful with suggestions for dinner and things to see in the area.

Great Place and affordable for a B&B. Super accomadating in all aspects. Everything from the toilet paper to the Yankee Candle for the bathroom is well thought out. Eco-friendly and very charming owners. Breakfast was first class, and very accomadating to our dietary needs. Would definitely stay here again. Just enough off the beaten path of downtown Bethel. A Must stay for any traveller.
