We enjoyed two meals at the roadhouse and both of them were excellent. The food was s food as any anywhere we have relished. We ate at off hour times which is typical for us and the service could not have been better. Our first meal was typical pub grub and we found no complaints about it I last meal was delicious Maine delicacies both meals were plentiful and sumptuous . The server/bartender is a Rotary international Paul Harris fellow and incredible hostess/diplomat. We do not want to downplay the quantity and quality of the food which were fabulous but the service was so phenomenal we could not get over it. on our second visit we advised of a strenuous and difficult hike earlier that day which had left was quite depleted we indicated that we needed some firewood and she went well above and beyond service above self and arranged For wood to be delivered to the roadhouse for us to build a beautiful bonfire at the Glasser cabin. We have absolutely no idea what could have made the experience better during either of our visits better. And we look forward to our return to Bethel Maine and the roosters roadhouse
