“A tranquil place to visit.”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This is a common stop but worth it. We took our two boys here and they wondered at the bridge and had all kinds of questions. They climbed down to the water and enjoyed themselves -- looking for fish. Worth taking a picnic basket in the later afternoon/early evening.

It looks newer than it says it is, we have visited other covered bridges and I just thought it would look older.

“Awesome Old Bridge”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

This Bridge has had many weddings on it. It is very picturesque and the view of Sunday River Ski Resort is fantastic.

“Lovely spot in the woods.”

We stopped at the covered bridge as a part of a pleasant drive through the Sunday River region. Nice, quiet setting with a pretty bubbling brook. Bring your camera.

“Quaint and historical.”

My first trip to this covered bridge was after we moved into this area. It is beautifully nestled among the hills and I look forward to biking in the area.
