“Great skiing for east coast”
Reviewed April 19, 2012

This is a wonderful resort, probably the biggest and nicest on east coast. Was open late season, far after other resorts in VT/NH/NY/WV had shut down. Very light crowds and good snow on what terrain was still open in late March. Makes a great 2-3 day trip.

“SR still kicking Killington's butt”
Reviewed April 9, 2012

Now that I live in Connecticut I can't ski in Maine often, but this year we made the drive because the clowns that now own Killington have no desire to accomodate late season skiers. Yes it was a tough year but Sunday River made the best of it while Killington went into full retreat.

“Great skiing and a good hotel”
Reviewed April 6, 2012

Well groomed trails and a clean, comfortable hotel with all amenities make for a great vacation location. Friendly staff make the spa and exercise area fun and the heated outside pools and hot tub allow for swimming while snow flakes fall on your head. Shuttle buses take you to the town or to all the lodges, but ski-out is availalbe, weather permitting, from the two resort hotels.

Nice variety of trails. Easy to difficult. Great snowmaking equipment. A fun place and usually crowded.
