We ordered four of the Front Street burgers, an hour and fifteen minutes later our burgers arrived. The burgers were delicious, a little over cooked, but mouth watering the fries were hand cut and were very good. The waitress was pleasant and apologetic. The on tap beer was limited to two; very unusual for a pub's beer garden.

Locals looking for a nice time and good food. Not to be found here. Ordered small order of onion rings, got about 12 rings for $5.99. Decided to stay and try sandwiches. Philly Steak, half a sandwich and under cooked fries at $9.99. Had 3 different servers. Waited a long time for service. Will not go back. Being in the business looked to me like they were understaffed and the kitchen was overwhelmed.

My wife and I were traveling through Belfast. We've been there several times before but had never eaten at Front St. (formerly the Waterfront Pub) Front St can best be described as a local pub. It's not fancy, but it's pleasant. It's located right along the cities waterfront just a few steps away from the new harbor walkway and a working shipyard. My wife ordered the scallops and I had the haddock sandwich. We felt both our meals were good. Front St. has a large (14) selection of Maine brewed beers on tap, including Marshall Wharf. (The brewery is located near the pub along the waterfront and walkway.) Our waitress was very pleasant and our service was quick

Traveling through Maine en route to Boston we pulled through Belfast for some lunch. Although there were lots of lovely looking shops and cafes, this pub down by the water caught our eye. It was just what we wanted. They were serving some seafood specials that day (per the chalkboard outside). We had a reasonably priced, reasonable good lobster roll, a good beer and OUTSTANDING haddock chowder. Very casual and relaxed. Typical pub, nothing fancy. Pleasant service. We were very pleased with the choice.

After a 5.5 hour drive from Connecticut we were mighty hungry and thirsty! Friends of ours had arrived earlier and scoped out the town selecting this location for lunch.

Great choice - a 20 oz bear and delicious lobster roll later and the ride didn't matter.

The restaurant isn't much to look at but Michelle our server was great, the beer cold and the food tasty - can't ask for more!
