We didn't eat any food here so this is strictly a review of the beers. Awesome selection. First we tasted at the on site brewery downstairs. Then we walked upstairs to the restaurant and got seats overlooking the harbor. We ordered a flight of beers so we could taste five more. The ambience is like a renovated warehouse with funky art, great music selections, and cute waitresses wearing ballerina tutus. Nothing like tutus and tattoos, right? Loved it.

We were travelling from New Hampshire to Bar Harbor and overnighted in Belfast at the Penobscot Inn( on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews), The Inn , which is really more of a motel was fine but their restaurant was closed that evening so we had to go into Belfast. We had a plain but well cooked and served sea food dinner at the Dockside Restaurant just above Weathervanes and the town dock. They were however not set up for after dinner drinks and recommended The 3 Tides. which was hidden away on Pinchy Lane. This turned out to be a delightful brew pub- they have their own adjoining brewery -The Marshall Wharf Brewing Company with a rustic but charming waterfront restaurant/ bar/ and open air fire pit. The bar had an exceptional selection of spirits at very reasonable prices and the menu, which unfortunately we could not sample, looked interesting and also reasonably priced. We will certainly return for a meal on our next visit to the area.

This is our Go-To place for a micro-brew by the water in Belfast. Funky and cool!

The meals are satisfying, well done, but I tend to find the portians a bit small for my taste. We just love the funky atmosphere!!! Try some of there excellent beers, but first pick a designated driver!
