“Place to go in Belfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013

Great food, service and atmosphere at a reasonable price. My wife and I love to go to lunch rather than dinner. It is great to have an excellent restaurant to go to rather than a pub with hamburgers and wings. If you like calamari, try their appetizer (quite different). Their fried Ravioli's are also very good. I love their Lasagna ... you can order a dinner portion at lunch. My wife likes their Eggplant Parm. Nice wine list also. After lunch it is a short walk to the pier and the harbor walk. We go there at least once a month and have never been disappointed.

“Great restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013

Had the pleasure of dining here & we both loved it. The meat lasagna & veal marsala were delicious as was the pairing of a great chianti recommended by the waitress that wasn't even on the menu yet.

Dessert & espresso definitely recommended. Great place for a great higher end meal without a stuffy feel.

“A sour note!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

I went to Delvinos with friends for lunch. We started off with a roasted garlic bulb. What I found strange about this was that it came with just that, a roasted garlic bulb. Now they did serve bread with olive oil for dipping but it just seemed a little strange to see that half a bulb on a small plate by itself. We, also, ordered bruschetta. It was fresh but way overpowered with vinegar and there was no cheese for topping. The salad that came with our selections was small, mainly greens with a few carrot strings. There is only the house dressing offered which I found to be way overboard on the vinegar, very mouth puckering to say the least. We all had the cheese ravioli, which were tasty and well prepared. The desserts were quite appealing. I had the lemon curd cheesecake with blueberries. My only criticism of that would be the blueberries were all mashed up and had little taste but the cheesecake itself and the lemon curd were good, although the crust was a little tough. I would go back again but would stay away from the apps.
