“What a gem in the heart of a great coastal town”

In short there is not a thing you could change to make this a better place to stay. Very comfortable beds, good pillow selection, quiet rooms and a great night sleep combined with delightfully attentive hosts. Park the car, enjoy the shops, harbor, and good dining selections and enjoy a restful night sleep in a deluxe suite. The breakfast is delivered to your door and was very good. I could have stayed for much longer and hope to do so next visit.

We booked at short notice through the Select Registry directory and stayed overnight in an exceptional room/suite. At first glance, the exterior of the building is perhaps a little unprepossessing but, don't be deterred, as inside awaits a friendly welcome and the most beautiful accommodation! It is immaculately clean, very well equipped and every part of the hotel has been decorated with impeccable taste. Helpful guidance as to local amenities was readily provided, and a local restaurant (the Lost Kitchen) was recommended and reservation made. It was a short walk, c.50 yards, up the road and we had a fabulous meal. It was a memorable stay and we recommend this boutique hotel (it's SO much more than an inn!) unreservedly.

This is a very nice in with great attention to detail. We stayed in a third floor suite, and it's really a 1 BR apartment. You could easily live there. Certainly it was more than we needed for one night, but it was really nice and well appointed. The owners are as attentive to the guests as they are to the rooms, we wanted for nothing. I really appreciated that Judy not only offered up dining suggestions, but took care of a booking for us.

The hot breakfast is served in your room and is quite lavish. All very good and more than either of us could eat, and served when you want it (just arrange the time the night before).

The rates here are higher than others in the area, so if price is your main concern be aware of that. For the extra, you are getting a downtown location, great service, and an amazing room

The location is perfect. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessities plus more. Excellent WiFi. The breakfast was perfect and served in the room. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have slept on, and I have slept on many beds.

My husband and I stayed at the lovely Belfast Bay Inn for two nights. Every small detail was considered to make this a comfortable stay in our luxurious room! Thanks to the innkeepers for their attention to detail. The inn is beautifully decorated, wonderful linens, clean, fresh and welcoming. We loved our suite and can't wait to go back!

We were taking a trip up the coast of Maine to visit a friend who was stopping in the quaint little town of Belfast. We needed a hotel for the evening and were SO pleasantly surprised by the charming inn on Main Street!
It was like staying in a luxurious Boston hotel, even better; it was the size of a one bedroom elegant condo with all of the amenities.
It was a Sunday evening so of course we had to watch the Patriots play; all in walking distance were pubs, the harbor, restraints and a co-op where we were able to buy food/drink to bring back to our room and watch the game in a living room with a flat screen and a gas fireplace!!
A fantastic breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning. Our friend had joined us and they even provided her with a freshly cooked meal – YUM!
Four Stars, I give it :) :) :) :) :) A must stay!!

Room Tip: ALL rooms are great
