The Kennebec Inn is quaint, dignified and spotless! The hospitality is extraordinary... Ken & Rachel are at once warm, down-to-earth, friendly, intelligent - and very well-informed about the area.
The beds are excellent, the rooms are clean and cozy. Many inns are "overdone" with far too much in the way of decor and "tchohkes" (ornaments). The Kennebec is done in complete good taste - faithfully reflecting yesteryear, but not overdoing it. A totally relaxing experience. Also very conveniently located.
We are long time fans, having visited about 5 summers in a row!
