We just returned from having dinner at the Best Thai in Bath.
Dinner was very good, however there was a problem that I don't believe was handled well.
We 3, had 2 glasses of wine, 3 appetizers, and ordered 3 entrees.
I ordered number 4 from the specials and my 2 companions both ordered number 3.
When the order arrived I was served number 5. I now had to wait 10 minutes or more for my order while my companions felt bad about eating their meals while I waited for mine to be served.
There was no compensation in the way of complimentary wine, appetizer, or sending the wrongly served meal home with the client.
Also as the waiter took the wrongly served meal away, we heard him say "free food".
This is not the way to create a good "word of mouth" recommendation from your patrons. Best Thai would have lost nothing in compensating and gained everything in client happiness.
