“The bomb!”
Reviewed September 2, 2014

Just a trailer on the side of the road but the food is wonderful. Everything is made right there and tastes yummy. I had the clam chowder, which was creamy and so tasty, and the veggie egg rolls. My guy ate the fried haddock sandwich, with homemade tartar sauce and chips. He was pleased.. I was disappointed that there were no steamed clams but I can get them somewhere else. What we ate was worth the stop. Give it a try if you're in the area.

“One of the best seafood shacks in New England”
Reviewed August 27, 2014

Schutty's doesn't look like much - a generic food truck set alongside a non-descript road with views only of a gas station - but don't let that put you off because what's created by the talented young chefs in their little trailer it's some of the finest, freshest and most startlingly delicious seafood to be found outside of a fine dining restaurant. Starting with a focus on freshness and seasonality, the passionate foodie owners reinterpret all the traditional New England classics in creative new and delicious ways. If you're coming here only for a lobster roll or clam chowder, you won't be disappointed - theirs hang with the best - but their true talent is on display with their daily specials, inspired by what's been freshly pulled from the sea that day. Every ingredient is chosen for its quality - if they don't already make it themselves from scratch, like their wonderfully creative aoilis and crazy-good hand-cut potato chips. If you're anywhere near Brunswick or Bath, do yourself a favor and make a detour, even if you're not hungry. Don't waste your time with other, more popular shacks (a certain traffic-clogging venue in Wiscasset springs to mind) because you simply won't find better, fresher, or more lovingly-prepared seafood at any roadside stand in the region. Shutty's is simply that good.

“Classic Seafood Take Out”
Reviewed August 26, 2014 via mobile

This funky little trailer produces mighty fine eating and a fun experience. We ordered clam strips and a lobster roll. Even the ice tea was spot on. I am Scotch enough to think prices should be less at a stand than a view restaurant.

“Best. Clam. Chowder. Ever.”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

Truely, best clam chowder ever!! Seasoned perfectly. Clams nice and tender. Broth creamy but light. Also had the haddock sandwhich. Light as air breading, good bun. So glad I made the drive from Bath! Bad location. They need to be somewhere with lots of traffic so they stay in business!!!

“Worth the trip!- Best seafood around.”
Reviewed August 24, 2014 via mobile

I have eaten at Schutty's Seafood many times since they opened and each time I walk away with a full belly and smile. Their food is delicious no matter what you order. From the homemade potato chips to the lobster rolls and daily specials, you are sure to find something for everyone. Not to mention that their daily specials board has items you'd expect to see in a restaurant and the quality is impeccable. If you are in the area, or just craving amazing seafood, don't pass up the opportunity to eat here!
