It was a good location, near a grocery shop and other local stores. We had loud neighbors the first night. The staff looked into the issue and told us that the people had checked out and that they assured us that we would have a quiet second evening and we did. We also received a personalized handwritten note and a gift card, which was more than we expected.

What a wonderfully warm and restful weekend we had at the Hampton Inn in Bath! Upon arrival, Dawnelle & Jerry welcomed us, gave us some tips about restaurants in the area, described the hotel's features and made us feel really welcome. Our king room had a wonderful view of the water, it was on the top floor and at the end of that hall, very quiet location. We slept so well on the comfy bed, had a great shower, too. Breakfast was great, I had the oatmeal with raisins, and brown sugar for toppings, my husband had scrambled eggs, homefries. Kim at breakfast was always checking the area to make sure things were clean, food was well presented and well stocked. She was very kind to all of her guests in the breakfast area. We would definately choose this hotel every time we are in the Bath area. It was a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a beautiful water view.

Right on the river, away from Rt. 1, within walking distance of a grocery, historic downtown, great restaurants... and in a quiet location.

Staff was friendly and immediately responsive to questions and needs. One morning, a businessman in the next room was very loud on the phone, waking me up. Staff immediately responded and later followed up with a kind note.

Rooms are clean, contemporary and quiet -- with digital thermostats and warm heat, a luxury in Maine in the winter. (Try staying somewhere else or renting a vacation rental and see their eyes when you ask for heat over 60F! I was very thankful for warm heat at the Hampton!)

Room Tip: Ask for a river view, high level floor.

On the top floor at the Hampton, quiet room as requested, nice view over the river & bridge.
Spacious room, large king bed, quite comfortable, spacious bathroom too.
Helpful staff & better than average breakfast, parking right out the front.
Good location, short walk into the restaurant & shop area.
Very good value.

Room Tip: top floor was good & quiet

What a wonderful hotel. Friendly helpful service we were met with a hello every time we went through the attractive lobby. The hotel is almost new well done and in a great location on the river with great water views on the upper floors and back side of hotel has a nice view of a lovely park overlooking the library. Hotel is a few steps from a quaint little down town with cute shops and some good dinning options. Location is also a great walk to look at some great architecture and some beautiful old homes. We had a top floor king. Excellent. The hotel being new is top shelf in every thing. This was the most tasteful Hampton we have seen.very well done. We had coffee in the best bed yet and watched boats on the sparkling water. it is a working water way so it is not postcard pretty but it is nice. The room was built for a king bed so it was not a two bedded room turned into a king room, so it was a tad smaller then some king rooms we have stayed in but it is so well laid out you barely notice it. The pool- hot tub- breakfast and business center are all top shelf as well . This is a GREAT place in a cool little town.

Room Tip: Water views are nice but any room here is great

The Hampton Inn in Bath is incredibly nice! Feels very new, clean and safe. The red brick shell of the building is beautiful and it blends in nicely with the main drag of the small downtown area of Bath. All of the usual amenities and perks checked up and were outstanding as usual, including the front desk service, room cleanliness, space and breakfast in the morning. Would stay here again if I returned to Bath without a doubt!

I've spent a lot of time in the Bath area, and it's nice to have a new place to stay - especially one within walking distance of the main street. This is a new hotel, rooms are very spacious, breakfast is nice and staff is friendly. The river view is nice too, worth the extra $10 if you're new to the area. Now while the breakfast they serve is fine, don't miss getting a really good cup of coffee at Cafe Creme on Front Street (the main drag in town), and Solo Bistro is great for dinner.
