We stayed here August 11 - 15, 2013 and were very pleased with out stay. We had a room with double beds and a cot. One of the beds needed to have the mattress replaced as it was quite uncomfortable and sagged in the center but we managed ok. It is most important for us to have a clean room to stay in and it was clean, as well as the rest of the hotel, impressive. Breakfast during the week was 6 am til 9 am. We arrived usually around 8:30/45 and it was quite busy but usually well stocked. They had juice, milk, coffee/tea, yogurt, muffins, cereals, bread/bagels/english muffins for toasting, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, waffles, fresh fruit salad, and apples/bananas. They had a swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna, small fitness center, coin laundry, a market instead of vending machine (much better options than a vending machine), free parking and internet. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and speedy. The price was very good and remember to check prices based on any discount groups you belong to as it makes a big difference sometimes. I booked this hotel because it had all the amenities I was looking for and am happy with my choice. We would definitely return to this hotel.

We spent two nights here in July. The hotel check in staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was so quiet, so quiet that we slept until 9:30 one morning, didn't hear any one in the hallway or any doors slamming which is so common in hotels. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my second time staying at the Fairfield Inn Bangor and I was once again very impressed with my stay.

This hotel is very nicely set up. The lobby is very spacious. There is coffee right when you come in the door for any time and a new(?) "Market" where you can buy micromavable food and snacks, and also drinks, at the front desk.

The rooms are very bright and clean with newer decor. Bedspreads, curtains, pillows, shower curtain and artwork all coordinate. It gives the Fairfield its own uniqueness and sets it apart frond the other hotels in the area, which made me want to stay there again.

The breakfast is full of great options and variety. Breads, waffles, bagels, English muffins, cereals, yogurt; and also hot foods including turkey sausage and scrambed eggs every morning. Lots of seating in breakfast room plus overflow seating across the hall. Very well kept with staff checking and refilling things often.

The pool is probably one of the best things about this hotel. It is always clean and not freezing like many other hotel indoor pools that 'claim' to be heated. It is also a great size if you want to swim across back and forth for good exercise, but I recommend if you want a relaxing swim to go in the morning when the pool first opens. The afternoon and night are always filled with splashing kids.

The only thing I can complain about is the fact that there were no vending machines! Every hotel I have stayed at has had vending machines, and I have stayed here before, so this must have been a recent change? I guess now you have to buy food and drink from the 'market' now; maybe there were problems with the vending machines? I don't know, but I love vending machines and it was sad not to find any during my stay.

Overall I had a great experience and will definately be back next time I'm in Bangor.

We stayed here before a hike up Mt. Katahdin. Beds were not supportive however, sagged in middle, the place was clean and worked for us. Woke up too early for breakfast. Picked up Tim Hortons coffee right next door early am.

Arrived shortly before the advertised check-in time of 3pm but were greeted warmly by the front desk clerk. We were given the option of having a room on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor and chose the 1st floor. We were towards the back of the hotel facing the entertainment complex so the only noise we got was from the odd plane that flew over. Room was very clean and stocked with plenty of the necessities. Pool was very clean and nice. Would stay again.

This is my favorite place to stay in Bangor. Great Pool, clean rooms and friendly staff. We actually stayed there and took advantage for the stay and fly option. We were able to leave our van there for 10 days at no additional charge.

This is a decent family hotel. The double beds were fairly comfortable and the place was relatively clean. The pool was quite large, which was nice. The breakfast was pretty good, but on Sunday morning didn't start until 7:00 and the breakfast area was packed, I assume, because many people wanted to get on their way earlier.
