I was flying out of Bangor (BGR) International or I thought I was. My flight was canceled due to mechanical problems with the plane. The next flight I could get was 5 hours later. I decided to book an early flight the next day.
I walked over to the Four Points and I was able to get a room. The hotel is so close, that I think I could have kicked my suitcase from the airplane gate to the check in desk!
The biggest plus for this hotel is that it is connect to the terminal by a "sky bridge." I was put in room 315 (faces the parking lot). For a 1 night stay, this was a fine room. Not to big, the bathroom was a bit small. A nice bed, flat screen tv, desk and coffee maker.
I did end up with having a family in the room next door and either the walls are thin or they were loud. Not to much wear and tear on the room.
Front desk person was nice. Didn't interact with any other hotel members. I did see that they had a small pool(very small) and a small work out room with treadmills.
For a less than 24 hour stay, this was a fine room. Again, for me, it was right next to the terminal and I just rolled out of bed and rolled over to the check in counter.More
