OMG! The chicken pie is better than they advertise. We bought one to take home for dinner because we had seen the crazy ad for 'buttery, flaky crust'. It was SO good. I had never tried it before. I have had their blueberry pie and it is the best anywhere. CInnamon rolls on the weekends are to die for. Very casual atmosphere and good food.

I really enjoyed working there and people love this place. The food is really good and the service is fun. Just a great little truckstop to get some home style food

I had a late flight and read that this establishment is open 24hrs. It was a very cold night so I drove immediately there and had some wonderful Shepards Pie that "hit the spot" on such a night. The place is a truck stop and is not fancy, but it is obviously a gathering place for locals as i saw many families and the wait staff seemed to know most of them. This is not a place for special occasions, but if you want a reasonable tasty meal and don't have to wonder if they are open, this is worth a try.

Don't understand why people like this place ? Went in for breakfast - Sat for 10 minutes before the waitress decided to stop talking & drinking coffee and wait on me ! Had the omlet they call "The Kitchen Sink"; should be the "Garbage Dispoal" !!! Everything was raw ! The onions, green peppers tomatoes & eggs were ALL undercooked !! The ONLY thing overccoked in the meal were the baked beans ! They were MUSH! tasted like they had been a a slow cooker all night ! The ONLY thing decent was the coffee. I realize there isn't much to eat in Bangor over night, BUT there MUST be something better than this place !!!

The chicken pot pies are to die for. They have a "flakey" crust that is so good. The pie itself is excellent chicken, peas, and carrots soooo good!!!! Have had it 3 times now and will have it many more!!! Thanks Dysarts, you have great food.
