“Expensive, noisy and food is just OK”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

Tried this place about a week after it opened. It's very, very noisy and you have to wait a long time for drinks and for service. If you are a small party, you will be seated with strangers. Once things get going its fairly entertaining. But I predict this place is gonna fail because its too expensive, too noisy and service is lousy. People will try it once and never return.

If you absolutely must go, get a group of 10 so you arent seated with strangers and prepare to wait. Food is ok, very greasy and prices are high. For $27 you can get a better steak at Massimos.

“Avoid this place!”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

To say that this was a disappointing night out would be an understatement! My husband and I recently (10/26) went to this restaurant because we both enjoy the experience of Teppanyaki dining, and it was "date night"; we get those so rarely because he's in the military. We thought we were off to a good start because we were seated pretty quickly, but unfortunately that was the highlight of the evening. I realize that there is some waiting to be involved in order to really experience the idea of having your meal cooked in front of you. However, we waited 15 min. just to get water...and then mine had a hair in it! Now it's another 15 min. before she came back with the replacement water and to take our order. Then we get to wait another 30 min. before the chef even came out to cook our meal! There were only 10 of us at the table to prep food for.

Ok, it was a great show, but for $25 I should get more than 5 pieces of shrimp and 8 pieces of steak. My husband had the scallops (5 whole scallops mind you!) and half a dozen pieces of chicken for $23. BUT THAT'S NOT THE WORST OF IT!!! If our waitress had crossed her arm in front of my face to get to attend to my husband once, she did it five times!! Once while my husband was trying to kiss me she reached in between our heads to grab his glass!!! How Rude!!! The chef had no more than finished cooking our meals when we were greeted with our check and asked how we wanted to pay. Who does this?!?!? When we were finished our meal my husband (who never complains) went to talk to someone and he was told that they "were too busy to talk right now." Ok, you got it....we'll talk to you on here then. We've lived all over the world, and had many different types of cuisine and service, but this has to be one of the worst services we've ever had. The prices are high for the area we live in, and the service is shoddy and rude to boot.

Kobe maybe the "new kid in town," but if you value your dining experience, time, and money...ESPECIALLY if you're in the military....give this place a wide berth!
