Well laid out, and a large variety of things to see. Toboggans, chariots, cars, trucks, trains, tanks and ..chainsaws. A wonderful experience, and wonderful people who where very happy to see us. A true family affair.

“Every Veteran has a Story”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

The Cole Land Transportation Museum is so neat to see. This museum holds so many antiques and artifacts to see. Guides at the museum show you around in small groups and share so much information which is cool to learn. American Veteran's also meet and greet groups and share their experiences of serving their country in past times of war. It is so cool and so rewarding to experience. A place for every american to visit.

“Great specialty museum”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Low cost, nice facility and a very interesting selection of Maine transportation history and militaria. Bring a picnic if it's nice weather and eat on the lawn or under the covered bridge. However, there are no concessions available on-site.

“Visit every year for Father's Day.”

My husband and sons really love this place. We went last year when they had a car show and plane exhibit. Very educational and kid friendly.

“Really worth a visit!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

If you love history, and want to see a lot of historic wheeled and tracked vehicles and implements that are unique to Maine's history, then drop in for a very interesting visit. It can be done in as little as an hour. My wife and two teenage kids weren't bored at all, and actually enjoyed it too.
