“Pride in new ownership”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

We visited Chopsticks today on Center Street as we had been told it was under new management and we should try them.
Well folks the American dream is alive and well, the owners were conducting a "family and friends soft opening" and we, unaware, stopped in for dinner. We were warmly greeted and were told that we are his first paying customers. The food was fresh and delicious and the owners were so happy to have us and you could see the pride they took in providing a wonderful meal. it's refreshing to see someone open a new business and actually know what it means to put out quality food.
Give them a try you will be back !

“Great little "hole in the wall" find.”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

Important for vegetarians- the owner is a vegetarian and all the veggie dishes are actually vegetarian- no chicken broth in the veggie soups. Her Hot and Sour soup is phenomenal, and I believe vegan friendly. The spicy fried green beans is an outstanding dish- even meat lovers will enjoy it. Good selection of Chinese Restaurant fare- but very well done. I have never been disappointed with a meal from here. Easy to find- it's next door to Brookings and Smith's Funeral Home- with parking across the street. Well worth trying- especially if you are a vegetarian and can't find "real" vegetarian fare. Enjoy.

“good lunch”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

In Bangor with the kids and wanted to try a different restaurant. We enjoyed the free tea and 8.00 lunch specials. The veggie eggrolls, shrimp and broccoli, and dreams tofu were all good.

“Fantastic!”

Superb food, especially good if you ask for specific requests. Free tea and great service. Ask for the Chinese Fried Rice, it is much better. The seasoned thai eggplants are great too!

“Always yummy.”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

This was the one restaurant we went to for dinner during our trip. We particularly liked the spicy crispy shrimp. The ma po tofu was also unusually good, and surprisingly, vegetarian. Everything else we had was very good, too. They are very sensitive to food restrictions.
